As an experienced photographer, I prefer to use natural surroundings as the background as this gives me the light and inspiration to produce natural and relaxed portraits..

I've always been interested in photography, and after working in engineering for a few years I went back to school - qualifying as a photographer in 1983, and as an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography in 1987, achievements I'm which make me proud.

For nearly 30 years I've worked continuously in all aspects of professional photography, and after all these years I still enjoy what I do, especially today and the way that the photographer is now expected to provide a more spontaneous and relaxed style of photography.

I have the confidence, experience and imagination to photograph weddings in my own way using a variety of formal and informal styles, using my own judgement and intuition to capture the moment. Although many photographers use lots of long and sophisticated words to describe what they do - I don't, I just call it photography...
